A bit about the lady behind the lens..
I am sure of two things.
I was put on this earth to be a wife and a mother, & I was always supposed find my way to photography.
Most other things remain a mystery, but of those things I have no doubt.
I have overwhelming gratitude for my three babies, the meaning they brought to my life, the honour in being their mumma.
My husband; my confidante. Forever listening to my big dreams, bringing me coffee in the morning, playing guitar at me.
Everyday in this life is a blessing, I am so lucky.
A few more things about me..
I couldn't care less about handbags or shoes-but new camera gear and skincare is a problem.

I love deep, profound conversations; just as much as I love trivial chats about viral Tik Tok recipes and the latest Selling Sunset season.
-
Light. That flittering, dappled sunlight that comes through the windows first thing in the morning- I wish I could bottle it up.
-
Sunrise. Sunset. The Sun....... but not on my face because #retinol.
-
A balance of lazy weekends, and absolutely manic weekend days jamming the kids into the backseat, the boot full to the brim with prams, nappy bags & backpacks, sunscreen, inflatable pineapples, egg and lettuce sandwiches- whatever we can fit, and hitting the road without a plan.
-
This new moment of self. Self care, self development, self healing. I'm here for all of it. I am currently working towards a black belt in practising gratitude, manifesting & breath.
-
Good food. Good wine. Good company. Finished with good chocolate, my comfiest pjs and melting into the couch for some good Netflix.
-
Music. And I mean the good stuff, the old stuff.
-
Belly laughing WITH GIRLFRIENDS.
-
Cleaning my house to MUSIC PLAYING LOUD ENOUGH, THE STREET CAN HEAR IT.
-
Landscapes- they really, really floor me, and completely take my breath away. To stand there, and look at a valley or a mountain range, or just a beautiful garden- it's a gift.

I AM REALLY, UTTERLY OBSESSED WITH BECOMING THE BEST VERSION OF MYSELF- FOR ME, AND FOR MY FAMILY. THAT LOOKS LIKE ME LISTENING TO AN INSANE AMOUNT OF PODCASTS, TRYING TO GET NORMAL WITH BEING A BIT WOO WOO, AND ONLY DOING THINGS THAT REALLY ALIGN WITH MY VALUES, AND LIGHT ME ON FIRE. I JUST THINK LIFE IS WAY TOO SHORT TO DO THE THINGS THAT MAKE YOU FEEL SMALL.
Photography Becomes Her
I picked up my very first disposable camera when I was 10 years old heading to Jindabyne for year 6 camp. So we're talking 1998. (Proud millenial here).
To say I was trigger-happy would be a gross understatement. Most of the photos were of the sunset through a bus window. The rest were blurry, mostly of people's feet- completely awful if I'm honest. But I knew I had stumbled upon a new hobby.
When I was 18, I left home and moved to Noosa for a fresh start. I didn't realise how hard it would be to leave my family and friends behind- not to mention the mammoth challenge of meeting new people. I relied on photography as a bridge to connect with people- to introduce myself without having to say too much at all and without having to explain my story. Photography was like a snuggly comfort toy- something that would help me translate in whatever new situation I found myself in. I learned that photography really is a universal language- much like music and art. If you can show people something they like, or something beautiful- a connection is forged.
My Why's
Harper
My forever muse.
My introduction to the 'but why' phenomena.
My sparky, vibrant, incredible sass queen who questions absolutely everything that I do, say, think, feel- there must be an explanation for it all.
The tiny human that forced me to become a better person, and want more in this life.
The one who healed my broken heart.
The one who made me a mummy.
Beau
The wildest one.
The busiest one.
The fastest one.
The first mountain goat I birthed, and also; the clumsiest.
The biggest brown eyes, and the curliest locks- traits that ensure he will get away with taking a sharpie to a new couch.
The one with a smile that lights a whole room, and a laugh that warms the heart like chicken soup in the middle of a Blue Mountains winter.
The one I most cherish the quiet, romantic times with- for they are fleeting and rare.
River
The final instalment.
The most gentle, & calm presence that has ever come through our front door.
The one who showed me how empowering & wonderful birth can be if you listen to only your body, and drown out the rest of the noise.
The velcro one, who clings to mumma like gum to a shoe.. wouldn't have it any other way.
The one who gave to us an unparalleled symphony of warmth & tenderness, simply by existing.
3rd of June, 2023
I got to marry the man of my dreams, my beautiful baby daddy, my best friend, my sound board- and my number one supporter.
And whilst our actual wedding was hands down the best day of my entire life (with the exception of the days my children were born).. the day we received the photos was pretty awesome too.
I had been given the gift of feeling what my clients feel when they receive their galleries.
Every emotion, and precious moments with the people I love most in this world:
forever frozen in time.
