Welcome,
My name is Kyla. A loud introvert, lover of nature & an artistic family and motherhood photographer at the foothills of the Blue Mountains, NSW.
Known as 'mummy' to my three wild ones, and 'wifey' to my souls other half- Aaron. Also known as a sentimental sap, keen wine drinker & dance floor enthusiast by anyone who knows me well enough.
I am completely, and utterly obsessed with turning your love & connection into art.
I will brave windy mountaintops, drench myself in the surf, set 3am alarms to make the sunrise, or simply hang out in the place you call home.
Whatever your dream session may be, I cannot wait to be a part of it.
FOR WHERE THERE IS LIGHT, LOVE & LAUGHTER.. THERE IS MAGIC TO BE MADE.
"Kyla, you had the most amazing way of guiding us so gently and helping us navigate our way through the shoot. I distinctly remember having a moment with each of our babies and JJ. This made me so happy as a Mum I’m always behind the camera and trying to capture some sort of magic but l knew with you , I could confidently put all of this into your hands and knew that you would produce images that would reflect this time in our lives and boy did you. We took our photos at the start of the year and have continued to look at them throughout the year. This precious time that you captured was time standing still, with each of babies at very different stages in life.
I love that you created an environment where we felt safe and comfortable and able to belly laugh. For that hour or so it was just us and it was pure bliss. Kyla I’ve said it a few times but you have an amazing talent and I am constantly in awe of what you produce. I am so grateful we have found a photographer we can trust to document our family journey. This has been a massive year for us and we will always be thankful for the memories you captured that day."
A blessed life..
"Where the light lands is where you shall find me; camera in hand, watching your love story unfold before me.. sure that should this be what I do until I take my last breath, I will never live a day worthy of regret."
